New Luxury Hospitality: NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta Officially Opens

Dubai’s ever-evolving hospitality landscape has reached another milestone in 2026 with the grand opening of the NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta. Following an extensive and meticulously planned transformation of the former Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, this property now stands as a flagship of contemporary elegance and personalized service in one of the city’s most vibrant districts. The rebranding marks a significant expansion for the NH Collection brand in the United Arab Emirates, offering a seamless blend of modern design and functional luxury for international travelers.

A New Vision for Sophisticated Accommodation

The hotel features 396 guest rooms and suites, each redesigned to provide a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Guests can choose from various categories, including Collection, Superior, and Premium rooms, all featuring high-end finishes and the brand's signature amenities. For those seeking extra space, the Junior, Family, and Terrace Pool Suites offer generous layouts. Notably, the Terrace Pool Suites provide private outdoor areas and temperature-controlled pools, creating a secluded oasis within the urban environment.

Families and long-stay guests will find the two-bedroom configurations particularly convenient, offering the flexibility of a home-like setting with the services of a world-class hotel. Additionally, guests staying in Club Rooms and suites gain exclusive access to the Executive Lounge, where they can enjoy a more private setting for breakfast, light refreshments, and business discussions.

Exceptional Culinary Journeys

Dining at NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta has been elevated through the introduction of several new concepts alongside established favorites. The gastronomic experience is now more diverse than ever, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences:

• Benihana: The world-renowned Japanese teppanyaki concept brings its theatrical cooking style to the hotel, where expert chefs prepare delicacies live at the table.
• Taste: An all-day dining venue that takes inspiration from global culinary traditions, serving a rich variety of international flavors.
• Nomad: A stylish café focused on specialty coffee and wholesome, healthy bites—perfect for casual meetings or digital nomads looking for a cozy workspace.
• Rodeo Drive: An American-inspired venue offering authentic Tex-Mex flavors paired with live music for a lively evening atmosphere.
• Skyline Pool Bar and McGettigan’s: Popular spots for relaxation and socializing, providing the perfect backdrop for evening drinks or a casual afternoon.

Wellness and Leisure for Every Guest

Beyond the rooms and restaurants, the hotel serves as a comprehensive lifestyle destination. The rooftop swimming pool remains a centerpiece of the property, offering stunning views and a place to unwind under the Dubai sun. For those looking to maintain their wellness routine, the state-of-the-art fitness center and dedicated spa provide professional services for body and mind rejuvenation.

Families are warmly welcomed with a dedicated Kids Club, ensuring that younger guests have their own space for entertainment and creativity. This focus on family-friendly amenities makes the hotel an ideal base for those visiting nearby attractions, including the famous Ibn Battuta Mall and the various entertainment hubs located within the Jebel Ali area.

A Hub for Business and Events

While the hotel excels in leisure, it remains a premier choice for the corporate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments. With 871 square metres of flexible meeting space, the property can accommodate everything from intimate board meetings to large-scale celebrations and international conferences. The renovated breakout areas and high-tech infrastructure ensure that every event is handled with professional precision.

The strategic location of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta provides easy access to Dubai’s major business districts, making it a convenient choice for professionals who value both efficiency and comfort. As the UAE continues to grow as a global travel hub in 2026, this new addition further solidifies the region's reputation for world-leading hospitality.
