Air France Unveils Sophisticated New Business Lounge at London Heathrow T4

Air France has officially welcomed travelers to its newly redesigned lounge at London Heathrow’s Terminal 4, representing a significant upgrade for the airline's presence at one of Europe’s most critical aviation hubs. Opening its doors in July 2026, the facility is a sophisticated sanctuary for eligible Air France, KLM, and SkyTeam passengers. Spanning over 750 square meters and offering comfortable seating for nearly 150 guests, the lounge has been meticulously crafted to provide a seamless transition from the bustling airport environment to the refined atmosphere of French hospitality.

A Fusion of French Design and Natural Light

The interior design of the new lounge is the result of a creative collaboration between Air France’s in-house teams and the renowned design agency Marks Brandimage. The space is bathed in natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that offer expansive views of the airfield. The airline’s iconic tricolor palette of blue, white, and red is subtly woven into the decor, creating a modern and vibrant aesthetic. Guests can relax on furniture designed by some of France’s most celebrated creators, including Pierre Paulin, Margaux Keller, and Patrick Jouin. The walls also pay homage to the airline’s storied history, featuring artistic displays and the classic winged seahorse emblem that has symbolized the carrier for decades.

Gourmet French Cuisine and Sustainable Dining

Gastronomy is a cornerstone of the new lounge experience. A dedicated 60-seat dining area serves an evolving menu that transitions throughout the day to suit various time zones and palates. Travelers can indulge in traditional French culinary delights, such as slow-cooked beef bourguignon, alongside a wide array of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian options, and delicate pastries. The beverage program is equally impressive, featuring a staffed bar that serves premium French wines, spirits, and, of course, champagne. In line with modern environmental goals, Air France has prioritized sustainability in its catering operations by sourcing ingredients locally and seasonally, significantly reducing food waste, and eliminating single-use plastic bottles through the installation of high-tech water dispensers.

Wellness and the Clarins Spa Experience

One of the most anticipated features of the new facility is the dedicated Clarins wellness area. This space celebrates a nearly 20-year partnership between the airline and the luxury skincare brand. Passengers can book complimentary 15-minute spa treatments designed specifically for travelers. The menu includes specialized options such as the Anti Jet-Lag facial, the L’Instant Detox session, and the Focus Regard treatment, all performed by expert Clarins therapists. This wellness zone provides a rare opportunity for passengers to rejuvenate and refresh their skin before embarking on long-haul connections through Paris.

Exclusive Privacy and Modern Convenience

For those seeking the highest level of exclusivity, the lounge features a private section dedicated solely to La Première passengers. This ultra-private area, containing only five seats, mirrors the design language of the airline’s latest flagship suites. These guests receive personalized dining service and have access to specialized relaxation treatments. Additionally, Flying Blue Ultimate members have their own quiet zone for focused work or rest. Throughout the entire lounge, high-speed Wi-Fi, numerous charging ports, and a digital library of international magazines via the Air France Press app ensure that every traveler remains connected and entertained. With up to six daily flights currently connecting Heathrow to Paris Charles de Gaulle in the summer of 2026, this new lounge serves as the perfect starting point for global adventures.
